Ghost Recon – Wildlands

[nextpage title=”1 – Introduction”]

Just a new one for me.  It’s a little different so just taking the time to familiarise myself with all it’s bits and pieces.  I like it, but it could be a little more explanatory. ( I say that now as a newbie but will probably just go… sure that’s easy now after I have played for a bit)

The following information has come from me playing on an Xbox One.

Object of the Game

Basic description…. destroy the drug cartel.   Where do you start with this one?  So much you can do.  Initially you look at this and are not too sure where to start, well that’s my story.  I realise young kids that play these all the time know exactly what they are doing, for me it takes a little bit more investigating.

I will go through what you need to look for, what the symbols all mean and how to build up your character and their portfolio of goodies.

One question I am often asked is, which is the best sniper rifle in Ghost Recon Wildlands?

The answer to that question is totally up to the way you play the game.  For me, I have tried many of the ones in there, some are a lot more powerful but their downfall is they are very slow to take the second shot or reload.  If you are trying to bump the baddies off quietly you need to have that second shot quickly in case they move on the first shot.  So currently my favourite is MK14

Next I will show you the basics.

Quick Guide to getting started

  1.  Choose your character (all can be changed later except face shape and male/female)
  2.  Choose difficulty  (can also be changed later)
  3.  Do the first mission – Rescue Amaru.  Once done you will find a sniper rifle there in a weapons case.  You are now all equipped to go.

Go to this symbol on the map and you can unlock new missions.
